The festive spirit of Christmas came alive in grand style with Christinzel ’24, The annual Christmas celebration organized by the Club Service Avenue of the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya was a dazzling display of elegance, creativity, and holiday cheer.
The evening commenced with a warm and heartfelt welcome speech by the Club service Co-director Rtr.Navindya Hettiarachchi, setting the stage for an enchanting night. Participants were welcomed with open arms, and the festive atmosphere was ignited. The talented members of the Catholic Student Movement of the university soon graced the event with heart-touching carols, filling the air with the beautiful melodies of the season and reminding everyone of the true essence of Christmas.
The evening transitioned into games brimming with laughter, energy, and the spirit of togetherness, adding a spark of fun and excitement. Participants enthusiastically engaged, creating an environment of camaraderie that perfectly complemented the festive theme. This was followed by a touching speech from the President of the Rotaract Club of the University of Kelaniya, Rtr. Vihanga Divyanjana, who shared heartfelt wishes and words of inspiration, resonating deeply with everyone present.
The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the Secret Santa gift exchange. This cherished tradition brought smiles, surprises, and a sense of unity as gifts were exchanged among laughter and joy. The spirit of giving and receiving truly embodied the meaning of Christmas.

Of course, no celebration is complete without music and dancing! DJ Milan brought the beats, ensuring the dance floor was alive with energy and joy. Adding to the fun was the 360° photo booth, a unique and unforgettable experience that allowed participants to capture the magic of the night from every angle.
As the night continued, participants cheered for the winners of the TikTok challenge and games, who were rewarded with special gifts that added a touch of excitement to the celebrations
