The highly anticipated cultural exchange program commenced on the evening of December 29th at 7 PM, bringing together over 60+ participants belonging to the Rotaract club of Valle de Sula Honduras, Rotaract Club of Nashik India, Rotaract Club of Delmas Haiti, Rotaract Club of Mogi Guacu Brazil, Rotaract Club of Ndejje University Uganda, Rotaract Club of Zamboanga Philippines clubs and the Rotaract Club of Trinity University as an observant club by hailing a rich tapestry of cultures.
The venue buzzed with excitement as individuals shared their unique traditions, stories, and experiences, transforming the atmosphere into a lively and colourful celebration of diversity. Laughter and conversation filled the virtual space, creating a warm and inviting environment that fostered friendship and understanding among attendees. The uniqueness of this project is that the individuals who took part in this mesmerizing event have to exchange a culture that belongs to another culture with the aim of fostering cross cultural understanding and value regarding diverse cultures.
Through an interactive session filled with enjoyment and enlightenment, participants were able to explore the richness of various cultures. This experience not only empowers personal development but also plays a crucial role in advancing global progress by fostering meaningful cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. After a spectacular moment the virtual cultural exchange program was concluded by conveying the gratitude by the presidents of the respective clubs with the intention to join hands with each other in the future.
Most of their speeches highlighted the importance of these international collaborations and how that brings out the magic of rotary and they also appreciate the richness of vibrant cultures inspires a desire to visit those places and learn new languages.
