With insight, innovation, and inspiration at its core, Project PRevail, the Public Relations Workshop Series organized by the Public Relations Avenue of the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya, marked a milestone in educating and empowering the next generation of PR professionals.
The series began with an impactful session on Personal Branding conducted by the renowned personal branding strategist Mr. Amithe Gamage. His session shed light on how one’s self-image and communication play a crucial role in standing out in today’s competitive world. His thought-provoking insights on confidence, consistency, and authenticity sparked meaningful conversations and self-reflection among the participants.
The energy continued with the second session, “Headlines to Hashtags: Modern PR Essentials”, led by Mr. Rashith Yapa, Co-Founder & Managing Director of AXO Creative. Through creative examples and real time experiences, he unlocked the secrets of navigating today’s media and social platforms transforming storytelling into strategy. Participants walked away with practical tools and a fresh mindset for digital PR success.
Bringing the workshop series to a close was the enlightening session on “Foundation of Public Relations” delivered by Ms. Dasini Madurasinghe, Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya. With a strong academic background and research focus on international PR and corporate communication, she grounded the audience with core theories, industry expectations, and professional practices essential to the PR journey.
Throughout the three sessions, Project PRevail not only educated but also inspired. The workshop series created a space where theory met practice, and young leaders found clarity, confidence, and direction.
