Thoughts of an Ordinary Week

You, white skinned, probably, 5-year-old
A bunch of kids from a holy garden,
Guided by teachers,
With a mission to succeed,
Enjoying the morning to the fullest,
With friends!
With the best friend!
On the way to somewhere!

Me, sitting on a bus seat,
Caught your sight,
Reminded me of her,
BunC!
Whom I care,
Whom I worry about,
Every second, minute, and hour!
Yet, an unusual thing popped up!

Why don’t you remind us of death?
The most bizarre thing to hear!
The sufferings of human lives!
Mental and physical!

I know, it still sounds stupid because all of us live in a world where we naturally over consume happiness which undoubtedly neglects sadness. Hence, it takes us to a place where we exaggerate death as an unusual phenomenon especially dealing with children. Just mention death when you talk with a child and his or her parents and you will be damned by the hellfire (I hope you can understand it).

Why can’t we accept it?
As the sunrise?
As the sunset?
As the moon?
And
As the sun?
One thing to ponder!
Every second, minute, and hour!
With an open mind
Being true to yourself!

But in reality
You will encounter it
Somewhere in your life
Thousands of unheard cries!
From birth to death await you!
Yet, you can definitely survive with your power!
That will grow from your own experiences!

I also thought this.
You, hiding death, showing us
The beauty of life!
Its simplicity,
Not complexity,
Giving us time,
To rethink,
To reimagine,
The value of our lives
To normalize death
In a materialistic world!
