The joy, warmth, and festive spirit of Christmas came alive with Christinzel ’25, the annual Christmas celebration organized by the Club Service Avenue of the Rotaract Club of the University of Kelaniya. Held on 27th December 2025 at the Indra Hotel, Kadawatha, the event brought Rotaractors together for an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, celebration, and heartfelt moments.
The celebration began with a warm welcome delivered by Club Service Co-Director Rtr. Dinuki Jayasinghe, whose opening words beautifully set the mood for the evening. Her speech reflected the true essence of Christmas and welcomed everyone to a night dedicated to togetherness and joy.
Adding a meaningful touch to the occasion, the Rotaractors themselves presented enchanting Christmas carols, filling the venue with melodies that echoed love, hope, and gratitude. This was followed by a lively and graceful dance performance by the Organizing Committee, which brought energy to the stage and captured the festive excitement of the night.
A special highlight of the evening was the address by the President, whose inspiring words emphasized unity, friendship, and the importance of celebrating moments together as one Rotaract family. The atmosphere soon turned even more vibrant as participants enthusiastically engaged in interactive sessions and festive activities, strengthening bonds and spreading cheer throughout the hall.
The evening grew livelier with a series of fun-filled games that sparked laughter, friendly competition, and endless excitement among the participants. These activities brought everyone together, creating moments of joy and strengthening the bond shared among Rotaractors. One of the most anticipated moments of the night was the Secret Santa gift exchange, which filled the room with surprises, smiles, and heartfelt reactions. The spirit of giving truly came alive, beautifully reflecting the essence of Christmas.
As the night progressed, the celebration transitioned into pure excitement with music and dancing. The DJ took over the floor, filling the venue with energetic beats and ensuring the celebration ended on a high note, with participants dancing, laughing, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
