The General Meeting of the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya for the month of October was held on the 8th of October 2019. The Kristo open theatre was filled with more than a hundred of our members, who participated for the meeting.

The meeting began with the President, Rtr. Rivi Wijeratne addressing the gathering. Then,  Rtr. Desaree Soysa took over the controls to carry out the flag salutation, Rotaract invocation and the Fourway test. Rtr. Nemindi Rathnayake, the joint secretary, took over the meeting to deliver the report. After the report was stated, Rtr. Rivi and Rtr. Nemindi addressed the directors and the members of the club about the steps to be taken in order to improve and develop the club, since as a club we believe there is always room for improvement.

The meeting continued with the directors of each avenue giving introductions to their ongoing and upcoming projects. Detailed descriptions of the projects were given to the members so that they could receive a clear understanding of the activities of the club.

This month, our Club had the pleasure of joining a special guest from the Rotaract club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Rtr. Faizel Nallawangsa who was a senior Rotaractor of the Rotaract Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, introduced the ongoing and upcoming events of their club and encouraged our members to take part in them.

Then began the fun part of the meeting: the ice-breaker.This time, a fun game was organized in order to spice up the usual General Meeting. Undoubtedly, all the participants had an amazing time.

The meeting came to an end with all the members and the directors gathering for a group picture to commemorate this wonderful day.
