“Friends in Life, Jewels in a Crown”

Life is not just a 4 letter word since it has an unexplainable deepness. Yet, the presence of one friend can alter this by making it easier. As the International Service Avenue of RACUOK,  we are in a heroic quest of finding true and novel friendships around the world. Hence, “AmiSphere” marks its significance as another virtual step to achieve this goal.

Firstly, the need of conducting a virtual event with a foreign Rotaract Club was discussed during the Monthly Avenue Meetup. Since India is one of the strongest friends of Sri Lanka, it was decided to initiate this event in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Spectrum.

After appointing an Organizing Committee, it was confirmed that 7. 00 p.m. on 1st of February 2024 was the auspicious time for “AmiSphere”. Therefore, flyers were shared on official social media pages announcing the importance of the event.

At 7.00 p.m. an unimaginable number of members joined the virtual platform emphasizing the glory of both Rotaract Clubs. In addition, the spirit of searching for novel connections was also highlighted.

After giving a brief introduction to the event, it was the time for fun activities in which every member participated enthusiastically. The guessing game made participants laugh and it certainly reduced the pressure that participants undergo in their lives. One talented member of RACCS was also able to enchant everyone by showcasing his singing skills.

Thus, at the end of the day, it became an ideal sphere for finding meaning in life with the support of novel friendships. Despite the geographical boundaries, two clubs were able to stand together by sharing unity and peace.
