The Best All-Rounders of World Cricket

Cricket is a world famous game which measures batting bowling and fielding of the players. Therefore being an all-rounder is not an easy task.

The world’s cricket history provides us many personalities who have performed their skills as all-rounders. Jacques Kallis is one of the greatest all-rounder of all time and certainly the best in recent times. He has played 519 matches and scored 25528 runs and recorded 577 wickets. Sir Garry is another remarkable player who played for West Indies and he was able to play in 94 matches and to score 8032 and to obtain 236 wickets. Imran Khan was the finest cricketer Pakistan has ever produced and he is the current prime minister of Pakistan. He has showed his talents in 263 matches and scored 7516 and recorded 544 out of that. Ian Botham is an English cricket commentator, member of the House of Lords and a former cricketer. He can be considered as one of the greatest all-rounders of history since he has scored 7313 runs and obtained 528 wickets from 218 matches.  Kapil Dev was an Indian cricketer who led India to win the world cup in1983. He was a fast medium bowler and a hard-hitting middle order batsman who has recorded 9031 runs and 687 wickets from 356 matches. The world famous Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya has scored 21032 runs and 440 wickets from 586 matches. 

Since these personalities have done a brilliant job they will remain in the hearts of cricket fans forever.
