The coldest November leaves may remember
The first drop of snow of this December
Cutest chambers of hearts may surrender
With the chilled blossoms of his Christmas calendar
.
Hands full of his favourites Lily and Lavender
White snow on the reddest gloves just as a pretender
Me, lighting up all the lanterns of lamenter
Grinned the twenty fifth tooth as his first offender
.
Me, at the late ninth hour standing at the city center
Whispering Amen! Hail to Jesus, you the defender
Oh, the morning dew frosted the last leaf of tender
Still making a wish full of belief to the comet of splendor!
