There is real satisfaction when we share our knowledge with children instilling the love of learning in them while igniting their imagination!!!

As a club that strives to give the best to the community, we believe in sharing our knowledge in whatever the way we can.

We believe in the positive impact that will make a change in the world once we share our knowledge.

Thus, with the hope of sharing knowledge and lending a helping hand to our own school children, the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya joined hands with a group of enthusiastic university students around Galle district initiating the project ‘Sisutharana 2019′.

The project was designed as a series of seminars to assist the students of G/Dharmalankara College, Thalgampala who will be sitting for the G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination.

Hence, the project ‘Sisutharana 2019’ completed its first phase on the 3rd of October 2019.

The seminar was focused on teaching Mathematics and English language to the students.

It was indeed a pleasure to see the innocent smiles of the students who were willing to recieve the knowledge we shared with them. Their feedback truly strengthened the motive of the project.

Vice President/ Director of Finance Rtr. Nipuna Rambukkanage deserves a big ‘Thank you ‘ for representing our club for this worthy deed, while rendering his time and energy.

As these enthusiastic students look forward fo face their examination with dozens of aspirations , we look forward to help them ignite their imagination and knowledge, through the second phase of the project in collaboration with the undergraduates around Galle.
