Green Legacy

“Green Legacy” – Healing the wounds of nature we once created.

The eco systems of the world are dying out and the environment is under constant threat. As Rotaractors we believed that it is our responsibility to make an impact against this threat.

Together with the Rotaract Clubs of Universities of Peradeniya and Moratuwa, RCUoK joined hands to preserve the environment on the 8th of May 2016.

Little Lights

Project Serve is a Rotaract District project done in each month to mark the Poya days. The project “Little Lights” (Serve Phase 11) was organized by the Rotaract Clubs of University of Kelaniya, ANC and University Alumni, together with the Rotaract District 3220. The program was organized to spend time with the children of the Sri Jinananda children’s home, an under-privileged orphanage located in Wellawatte. During our visit on the 15th of May with more than 30 rotaractors, we shared the joy and happiness with them.

Project Saviya

The month of May in 2016, marked one of the greatest disaster of all time in Sri Lanka as the floods and the landslides caused the immense disaster in the island. The conditions led to deaths of over 200 people while more than a million people affected by the adverse weather conditions.
