The RCUOK conducted a special programme at the orientation session of the freshers’ of the University of Kelaniya on 16^th of February at the university premises. The programme was conducted by Rtr. Yoshana Premarathne, Rtr. Darshatha Gamage, Rtr. Shenali Perera, Rtr. Ravindu Silva, Rtr. Shammi Srilal and Rtr. Shafni Nazath.

This session was organized as a part of the initiative to promote the Rotaract among the youth who will be shouldering the future. Every year new enrollments are done in every university. All the youth who enters these universities are filled with new ideas and positive thoughts. As Rotaractors and the undergraduates of the University of Kelaniya we understood that, it is our responsibility to make these young souls aware of many opportunities they have in their university life to serve the society as volunteers. Through this programme we were able to send this message to thousands of new undergraduates in a mega scale in order to make them realize how they can add value to their lives in the new journey they are going to begin with.

The orientation programme ended successfully with the hard work of current rotaractors of RCUOK whilst creating a path for young souls to join RCUOK and Dream, Serve and Relish!!
