“There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.”

With the appointment of the new board of directors for the year 2016/2017, “Read and Rest” can be identified as the first finance project initiated under the Finance Avenue of the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya with the main objective of raising funds for one of our upcoming signature projects. “Read and Rest” project simply gives you creative and attractive handmade bookmarks for all book lovers to use while reading and resting and to remind them how much we can Dream, Serve and Relish with our Rotaract family.

This was initiated by the Community Service Co-Director Radini Welewewa who is very talented and creative in paper crafts. We would like to extend our heartiest gratitude to our initiator Rtr. Radini Welewewa and every single club member who helped to make and sell these wonderful handmade bookmarks. Last but not least we would like to thank all the book lovers who purchased our bookmarks.
