Month of August, the season of summer, was a hard and busy month for all the rotaractors of University of Kelaniya due to tight exam schedules. Yet, we managed to pinpoint one special rotaractor as the “Spirit of the Club: August” for all the hard work and her commitment towards the club. She initiated the “Read and Rest” bookmark campaign which is our first finance project for the year 2016/2017, attended outstation installations such as Kurunegala and Ibbagamuwa as well as the DCM on behalf of the club. In addition to the above mentioned contributions she is currently attending to her role as the co-chair of the club’s installation. Therefore we would like to appreciate her hard work and proudly give away the title of the “Spirit of the Club: August”. This is none other than Rtr. Radini Welewewa the Co-Director of the Community Service Avenue. We wish her a very successful year ahead with our family, the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya.
