With the dawn of a new era in the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya in year 2016/2017, every member of the club was very enthusiastic and committed to have a great year ahead.

Among them one rotaractor took a significant role, while serving her maximum capacity, to add a remarkable event to the RCUOK history and her diary by organizing “The Entrepreneur” which was the debut event of 2016/2017 RCUOK calendar. “The Entrepreneur” was a project which was initially launched for young industrialists to provide them with an opportunity to grow and improve their creativity while learning from three corporate giants. They are namely Mr.Rohan Pallewatta, Mr.Sunesh Rodrigo and Mr.Dulith Herath. Our rotaractor put an immense effort, from the beginning to the end, towards making this project a reality by planning out a project map with clear division of work and including her exceptional leadership qualities and high commitment in the project.

This true leader was Rtr. Pemalka Premaratne, Co-Director of the Professional Development Avenue and we wish her a very successful year ahead with RCUOK. We are much obliged to appreciate her great work. Therefore we believe Rtr. Pemalka Premaratne deserves to be the spirit of the club for the month of July in RCUOK.
